PALO VERDE NATIONAL PARK

The Palo Verde National park tour is suitable for all ages. it is located just 1 hour from of the tourist centers in the papagayo area.

on the way we will stop at the tempisque river to witness the extraction of sand for construction using small boats and ox carts( this is a long standing practice and is the method of survival used by local people to this day.

along the tempisque river it is possible to see iguanas of different sizes, howler monkeys, all different kind of bird and much more.

When we get to the river, we will take a boat that will take us down the river to see crocodiles, iguanas, white-faced monkeys, different types of birds, and many other things.

After we will stop at a small farm were you will enjoy an excellent

authentic Costa Rican lunch cooked on an open air wood stove kitchen.

After lunch you can enjoy a pottery demonstration using native

techniques that are thousands of years old.
